Feedloop

Register a new bot

Register the bot that will receive feedback. You choose the feedback channel (Channel Talk or web widget) on the next screen.

After you register you go to the connect screen. There you either attach to the Channel Talk chat you already use or, if you have no support channel, add one widget line to your site. You can change this later or attach both.

Either way, a fact that isn't in the knowledge isn't made up: the bot hands off with “A person is checking. Please hold on a moment 🙏”. You can change this later on the Bots screen.

Fix PRs

If empty, it only triages and creates no fix PRs

The repository where fix PRs are opened from feedback.

A fine-grained token (Contents and Pull requests: Read and write, that repository only) that lets PRs be opened from your account on the repository above. If empty, Feedloop tries with its shared account, which only works on repositories that account was invited to as a collaborator. You can add one later in settings.
